Details: Glen's home and woodworking shop were almost completely destroyed in the Jamestown fire of 2003. Fortunately, Glen was able to rebuild a new stick-framed shop and a new straw bale home on the footprint of the old residence. Glen harvested logs killed in the fire and used them for 90% of the structural timber framing inside the home. Complete with passive solar design and earthen plasters, this home was (mostly) finished by the end of 2005.
